Typesetting Technology
We can work, flexibly, swiftly and accurately from text provided in a range of formats, including
OCR scanning facilities, formatting text files supplied or keying from hard copy.
Our fully integrated system works on both Mac and PC platforms.

Data Transfer
Using our expertise we are able to help you save time and money. You generate material on your
PC or Mac, as simple text or full pages produced on DTP software, and we will take the data as either
application files or PDFs by FTP, email link or your CD discs. At Geerings Print we make
technology work for you.

Scanners
Linotype Quickstep A3 flatbed scanner.
Canon Canoscan LiDE 70 for OCR scanning.

Proofing
Nashua 1200 dpi colour laser printer, for preliminary proofs.
Epson Stylus Pro 9800 for contract proofs using Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks.

Computer to Plate (CTP)
Chemistry free platemaking. Rampage workflow with Preps imposition software.
FUJIFILM Luxel T-9000 using FUJIFILM PRO-T Digital Thermal Plates.
